Mt Alexandra Lookout

Located around 10 minutes from the Daintree River, Mount Alexandra Lookout provides impressive views of the surrounding region. Known as Walu Wugirriga in the local indigenous language of the Eastern Kuku Yalanji people, the Lookout is the perfect place to relax and admire the views of the Daintree River, Low Isles, Port Douglas and Shipwreck Bay.

During your visit to the lookout, be sure to keep an eye out for the vibrant blue and black Ulysses Butterfly, as it is a regular in the luscious rainforest. You can visit the lookout on your own or with a Jungle Tours guided tour.
