Location
If you're looking for an easy yet scenic walking adventure in Fiordland National Park, then look no further than the Lake Gunn Nature Walk. A loop track stretching 1.4 kilometres in length, this trail is ideal for all fitness types as it takes only around 45 minutes to complete.
Beginning at Cascade Creek, the trail travels through red beech forest and along Lake Gunn, making it an incredibly scenic journey without the advanced effort of some of the other hikes in the area.
This trail is suitable for all ages and is wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately Lake Gunn doesn't offer any camping on site so visiting the area is reserved for day trips.
