Itinerary

With pick-up at a leisurely 8.50am to 9.00am at selected points in Adelaide CBD, we start the day with a City Highlights tour. While you get your bearings we'll show you some of the City of Adelaide's best sights, offering you an insight into her history and letting you in on some insider secrets, must do's, places to visit, and the best eateries to enjoy Adelaide's finest food.

As we head out of the city we'll drive by and visit the iconic Adelaide Oval (events permitting) and pass through the picturesque North Adelaide suburb. Here we can enjoy the stunning federation architecture and lavish abodes. Our next stop will offer us a spectacular view of the City of Adelaide from the vantage point of Mount Lofty.

After Mount Lofty lookout, our next stop is Hahndorf! With its abundance of boutique shops and eateries, the German village of Hahndorf is an absolute delight. There's plenty to explore as you wile away over an hour and a half of free time to do whatever you please.

We'll meet you back at bus stop 54, on the main street of Hahndorf, where you'll climb back on board, sit back, relax and enjoy the short and incredibly scenic drive through the beautiful Adelaide Hills on route to the iconic wine tasting region of McLaren Vale. Once in McLaren Vale, our first stop is the stunning Chapel Hill Winery. Have your taste buds primed and your camera poised as your host at Chapel Hill tantalizes you with a wonderful structured wine tasting experience in their picturesque cellar door.

We pass through the stunning McLaren Vale where there will be opportunities to take some iconic photos at famous landmarks.

It's time now to climb back on board before we take the short drive to our next winery - the quaint Haselgrove Winery. On this incredibly relaxed tasting you'll enjoy a structured tasting of Haselgrove's finest wines, and if you're peckish, you can purchase a cheeseboard to enjoy with your wine.

After Haselgrove, it's time to head back towards Adelaide. We're taking the scenic route so you can gaze out at the Adelaide Coastline as we journey towards our final featured destination of the day - Adelaide's beautiful seaside suburb of Glenelg.

There are two options for you here:

• Option 1: Take a 15 min stroll to get an idea of what Glenelg has to offer, before hopping back on the bus to Adelaide.
• Option 2: Leave the tour in Glenelg and spend a few leisurely hours enjoying the abundance of shops, restaurants, and, of course, the beach. Pick a spot for dinner and get ready to watch one of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere in the world.
• Trams run from Glenelg to Adelaide every 20 minutes.

• Bookings cancelled 48 hours or more prior to departure will receive 100% refund on monies paid.
• Bookings cancelled 24-48 hours prior to departure will receive 50% refund on monies paid.
• Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours prior to departure will not be refunded.
• A full or partial refund in the event of a cancellation less than 24 hours may be offered at the discretion of See Adelaide and Beyond.
