Location

Clock off on Friday and leave the world behind as you step aboard the historic PS Marion for a truly unique weekend escape. Moored at the tranquil river port of Mannum, the beautifully restored paddle steamer welcomes you aboard Friday evening, ready for a relaxing journey through time and along the majestic Murray River.

Wake on Saturday to the gentle creak of timber and the scent of steam as the Marion sets off upriver. Enjoy a full day of cruising past sweeping riverbanks, gum-lined bends, and native wildlife, all while indulging in hearty meals and warm country hospitality.

As evening settles in, relax on deck with a glass of wine, watch the stars appear, and fall asleep in your cozy cabin to the soft lap of water against the hull. After a leisurely Sunday morning cruise, the PS Marion returns to Mannum by afternoon—leaving you refreshed, recharged, and already dreaming of your next trip.

Inclusions

Passenger accommodation aboard the PS Marion is in the form of bunk style twin share cabins and can accommodate a total of 40 people (including crew). Sole occupancy is limited for twin cabins, it incurs a 50% charge on top of the cruise price and is subject to availability.

Four separate toilets and four showers are available for passenger use on the middle deck. Toilets are equipped with wash basin, mirror and power points. Electric razors and hair dryers can be used. A further crew toilet and shower is situated on the bottom deck. Two cabins located on the top deck have power points which can be used for sleep apnoea machines.

Linen is provided. This includes bedding, towels, face washers and bathmats.

All meals are included in the cruise price. _Cruises in 2026 - Friday night meal in one of Mannum's eateries (at your own expense).

Bar facilities are available. No alcohol is to be carried aboard by passengers.

Secure parking facilities & bus transfer to departure port.

Exclusions

Alcohol and soft drinks are not included.

Please arrive 1 hour prior to scheduled departure time, unless otherwise notified.
Board Friday night between 5pm & 9pm, cruise from 9:30am Saturday and returns approximately 3pm Sunday.

Additional Information

It is strongly recommended that all passengers take out comprehensive travel insurance for overnight trips. (This not only protects you against sickness, loss of luggage, hospitalisation, but also against your need to cancel).

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation the following fees are applicable:
Written notice of cancellation at least 30 days before the cruise departure date, the passenger will be liable to pay 20% of the total fare.
Written notice of cancellation 29 days to 15 days before the departure date, the passenger will be liable to pay 50% of the total fare.
Less than 14 days before the departure date, the passenger will be subject to a cancellation charge equal to 100% of the total fare.
