The World Class Tully River. Get ready to conquer grade 3 and 4 rapids on a wild ride through a spectacular gorge, surrounded by World Heritage rainforest. The Tully River is internationally recognised as Australia’s best rafting river. Water levels are guaranteed throughout the year, thanks to the operations of the 88 MW Kareeya Hydro power station. Our Tully River rafting adventures coincide with the power station water release, ensuring you’re in for some serious action whenever you raft with us. Our Tully River rafting tours operate daily with departures from Cairns, Mission Beach and Tully. There’s no prior rafting experience necessary and both white-water thrill seekers and absolute beginners can tackle the rapids, as our world class River Guides have got you covered.

Get ready for awesome rainforest rafting on the Tully River. Tackle world class rapids as they rip down the gorge, with giant granite boulders and a scenic backdrop like no other.

From Mission Beach - transfers commence from approx. 11:45am (return at approx. 8:30pm). Please choose your Mission Beach accommodation from the pick up list. If you have not yet booked accommodation, please choose the "Mission Beach Visitor Information Centre 55 Porter Promenade at 11:55am" from the pick up list
From Cairns - transfers commence from approx. 10am (return at approx. 9:30pm). Please choose your Cairns accommodation from the pick up list. If you have not yet booked accommodation, please choose the "TBA at 10:15am" from the pick up list

All participants are required to complete a waiver prior to travel
Rafting is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant
Must be able to understand rafting instructions in English
We aim to keep rafters from the same booking together, though this may not always be possible due to operational requirements on the day
