“ For the price, this was a really reasonable experience. We departed along with our indigenous guide and a group of other international travellers, and headed out into the red sands of the SA outback from Wilpena Pound Resort, hearing tales and local folklore along the way from our friendly driver/guide. He pointed out a number of famous spots used for filming in movies, as well as sites where significant indigenous events took place. Once the 4WD drove up to the top of the lookout point overlooking Wilpena Pound, the scenery was wonderful and massive in scale. At the top, we got to enjoy a mixed fruit and cheese platter along with an assortment of alcohol as the sunset approached, which made for some amazing photos. Would definitely recommend, and it's pretty much a must-do if you're making the trip out to Wilpena Pound anyway.
