“ An amazing day out for young children, big children at heart and wildlife lovers. It provides free tours, the guides are very passionate, knowledgeable and follow covid practices. They have a strong focus on sustainable practices and using local Tasmanian produces. They have a cafe and a picnic shelter. Included in the price is a free bag of food to feed the kangaroos. Support an amazing cause and have a great day out.

years agoThis is a must-do if you’ve never been to a wildlife sanctuary before. You will get to see (and feed) kangaroos. Make sure to take the guided tour included in admission to see feeding of devils plus koalas and wombats up close. Friendly and helpful staff. Bring a picnic to enjoy at the park.
years agoBonorong Wildlife Sanctuary - I have visited many of these places being a vet nurse. I am often nervous as to what the living conditions will be like for the wildlife having seen some terribly bad ones. Bonorong, however, was a pleasure to visit. The staff were lovely, animal enclosures were large and well maintained and the view was amazing. Easy to find and I will visit again!
years agoThe feeding the Kangaroos at Bonorong wildlife sanctuary was great. The kids enjoyed it very much. We learned more about the aussie animals during 'The tour explanation' (we are from china) and were able to have close encounters with the animals.
years ago“Visitors to Bonorong get a guided explanation of the sanctuary’s rehabilitation efforts, as well as a real-life lesson on the impact of wildlife conservation while on a tour of the grounds.”
