5 years agoThis was by far one of the best tours I have ever been on in my life. Our guides Sam and Huge were so much fun and make the experience that much better. We managed to see some dolphins while we would out on the water and even though it had started raining by the end of our tour, it didn't matter much because it was just an incredible experience. Lunch was also delicious. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hobart!
6 years agoMy husband and I did this tour and had a fabulous day. The bus ride was comfortable and our driver, Mick, was a local who grew up in the area so was full of information. The company seemed very well organised, spot on with their timing, and even when there was an unexpected hiccup with one of their four boats not able to run that day they coped very well and managed to get all but 4 people who turned up on to a tour either that morning or at a reduced rate in the afternoon. The wind and water protecting coats work well, the scenery was breathtaking and we managed to see seals, dolphins and albatross too. On top of that, our lunch, which is obviously produced for a crowd of people converging all at once, was probably the nicest meal I've ever had on a tour like this! Beautiful pumpkin soup and a very fresh roll and a blueberry muffin for morning tea. Well done to them!! And to top it all off, a drive-through oyster bar where we were able to purchase the most beautiful oysters on the way home. Thanks for a great day.
8 years agoThe trip was excellent. Food was good. Staffs are polite, professional and respect the opinions of visitors. We made some wrong bookings before we went on the trip but the issues were all solved quickly. They even provided translation service for us to make sure everything was correct before we went.
8 years agoThe Bruny Island Full Day tour was a great way to experience Bruny Island. Our tour guide, Belinda, was a fountain of knowledge and had a great sense of humour, which made the tour really interesting. We were extremely fortunate that the weather was sunny and warm on the day we did the tour. Really enjoyed the cruise, watching the seals and being so close to Antartica! I was really hoping to see some dolphins and whales, alas they didn't make an appearance on the day. Nevertheless, it was great seeing the island from the water. Other highlights of the tour include the delicious morning tea and lunch provided and also the drive-thru at getting Shucked Oyster Farm. Hands down the best tasting oysters I've ever had!
8 years agoThis tour made my weekend in Hobart. If you're only going to do one thing in Tasmania this should be it. The tour begins right in Hobart, the transportation to Bruny Island is part of the tour, not just a quiet drive. Our tour guide was funny, relaxed, and happy to answer any questions. The vessel rides extremely smoothly and they take you to see many unique features of Bruny Island that you can only see from a boat. On the way back you can ask the driver to stop so that you can get some Bruny Island chocolate or some oysters.
9 years agoGreat day out. Wonderful tour guides with good knowledge of the Island and its wildlife. Amazing scenery. Great value for money.
9 years agoThis tour was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. The driver/guide Hugh was fun and kept our attention all day. The morning tea was great as was the pre-ordered lunch. The cruise along the coast was truly spectacular and exhilarating. I would recommend this tour to people of any age and fitness!
9 years ago“Keep a close lookout for sea eagles soaring above the cliffs, pods of dolphins surfing the bow wave, albatross wheeling on the wind and shearwaters skimming the swells.”
