The Future & Other Fictions showcases the people and artworks imagining bright and bold futures through film, videogames, contemporary art and more.

Step into the minds of 19 creative visionaries from around the globe, through more than 180 works, and experience how future worlds are dreamed up and created on screen.

See detailed costumes from Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Explore intricate sets, props and concept art from Cyberpunk 2077, Blade Runner 2049 and The Creator. Enter the kaleidoscopic world of Icelandic pop goddess Björk, with otherworldly dresses, masks and artworks from her personal collection.

  • ACMI is open 10am to 5pm daily, 364 days a year (closed Christmas day) and the exhibition is open from 28th Nov 2024 to 27th April 2025

Cancellation Policy

  • ACMI allows cancellations and exchanges at any point prior to a visit at a charge of $2.50 per ticket
