Location

Taking flight to see Uluru at the closest regulated distance will provide you the chance to take photos with an unparalleled perspective from within the National Park.

From Uluru we track towards Kata Tjuta where we explore the Northern side of the majestic domes, allowing you to gain access to an area otherwise off-limits from the ground.

We then fly back towards the Town Square Helipad where views of Lake Amadeus, indigenous flora, and the Sedimentary layers keep you entertained.

Note

  • One (1) child who has not yet reached their 2nd birthday may be booked to travel free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap. Children two and over pay full fare. Restricted to one infant per flight. Subject to Helicopter availability.

How It Works

You MUST provide the following in the booking notes:

  • Each passengers first & last name
  • Each passengers individual weights in kilograms
  • The accommodation they/you are staying in within Ayers Rock Resort
  • A contact mobile number for the lead passenger
  • A home post code for the lead passenger

You confirm that all passengers acknowledge and comply with the below requirements:

  • All passengers fit & able to enter/exit the aircraft without assistance from staff
  • All passengers mobile enough to use a portable step and platform when entering/exiting the aircraft
  • All passengers have been advised it is recommended they wear enclosed shoes/nonslip foot wear to enter/exit the aircraft

Itinerary

  • Taking flight to see Uluru at the closest regulated distance will provide clients the chance to take photos with an unparalleled perspective from within the National Park. From Uluru we track towards Kata Tjuta where we explore the Northern side of the majestic domes, allowing clients to gain access to an area otherwise off-limits from the ground. We then fly back towards the Town Square Helipad where views of Lake Amadeus, indigenous flora, and the Sedimentary layers keep clients entertained.

Time

  • AM and a PM flights depart daily, although exact flight times are not confirmed until after the booking as they can change with the sunrise times
  • As an approximate the AM flight operates around 10.30am-12pm, but subject to change, and the PM flight operates between 2pm-3.30pm
  • 7 days a week
  • Christmas Day upon request and availability
  • Upon completion of your booking, the tour operators phone number will be available for you to confirm the exact flight time closer to your departure date

Duration

  • The tour duration is 60 minutes with a 25 minute flight time

Additional Information

  • As these flights are subject to availability, please note that your booking is on a request basis only. Once you complete the booking, a tour operator details will be displayed on your tour voucher so you can contact the tour operator to confirm the date and flight time
  • Should the date you requested not be available, date changes are allowed. If you are not able to move the date, a full refund will be issued
  • A minimum of two passengers is required for this booking to be confirmed
  • All flights are subject to weather conditions
