Discover One of the World’s Top 10 Wreck Dives – the SS Yongala Join a full-day dive adventure from Townsville or Magnetic Island to explore the legendary SS Yongala, one of the world’s most celebrated wreck dives. Resting within the protected waters of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, the SS Yongala sank in 1911 and has remained remarkably preserved, creating a thriving ecosystem teeming with marine life. Since being discovered as a dive site in 1958, the wreck has become a haven for hundreds of species, including giant trevally, sea turtles, groupers, eagle rays, and seasonal manta rays. Coral growth and abundant biodiversity make every dive a truly awe-inspiring experience. Your day begins with a comfortable cruise aboard one of Adrenalin Snorkel & Dive’s purpose-built vessels. Accompanied by experienced and knowledgeable dive guides, you will complete two unforgettable dives on the SS Yongala, enjoying full use of high-quality dive equipment and expert guidance throughout the day. If you are seeking Australia’s premier wreck diving experience, this tour is a must-do for certified divers visiting North Queensland.
