Join Ocean Leopard Tours for a world-class scenic boat tour from Whitianga to Cathedral Cove and beyond. Cruise Mercury Bay’s spectacular volcanic coastline in comfort, visiting iconic spots like Hahei Beach, Lonely Bay and the Te Whanganui o Hei Marine Reserve. You’ll see towering rock pinnacles, volcanic blow holes, abundant marine life, huge sea caves and of course, the world famous Cathedral Cove.

We offer maximum comfort and sun protection on our tour and your safety is our priority. Our smaller boat means a more personal, relaxed experience with expert local commentary and great photo opportunities, as we get up closer to these extraordinary locations.

Time

Tours depart daily at 10:30am from Whitianga Wharf The Esplanade, Whitianga 3510, New Zealand, a 30min drive from Hot Water Beach and Hahei.
We are open all year around, weather dependent. The only official day of closure is December 25th.

Children 2yrs and under are free of charge
This tour is weather dependent. All clients must check in the night before their tour to confirm. It can be cooler out on the water so come prepared with an extra layer.

Cancellation Policy

Ocean Leopard Tours reserve the right to cancel or amend any trip due to sea or weather conditions, or minimum numbers are not reached.
If we cancel a trip you will not be charged. Cancellations made by the client less than 48 hours in advance will incur the full charge.

Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
